Various Black Semi Dull DTY

Black Semi Dull DTY is an elastane-containing polyester yarn that has been treated to introduce durable crimps, twists, interlaces or other fine distortions along its length. This texturing process alters the yarn’s surface texture & enables it to have a more bulky and stretchable structure. The DTY can be twisted to high levels like 1500 - 4000 TPM (twist per meter) & heat-set, thus permanently thermo-setting the crimps and twists.

Compared to other fabric-making materials, DTY is known for its low moisture observing ability and therefore can be used in various apparel fabrics and home textiles. It also dries easily and has great breathability. This characteristic allows the fabric to wick sweat away from the body, making it ideal for sportswear. It is also widely used in hometextile and activewear, as it enables quick evaporation of water from the fabric surface and is able to keep the wearer dry and comfortable throughout their activity.

Black semi dull dty can be moulded in several ways to make it suitable for a variety of applications. The yarn can be shaped with different heating techniques, which can affect its texture and strength, as well as its elasticity and stretchability. Additionally, the DTY can be made with different combinations of Intermingle points. It can be Non-Intermingle (NIM) having 0 – 10 knots/meter, Semi-Intermingle (SIM) having 40 – 50 knots/meter or High-Intermingle (HIM) having 100 – 120 knots/meter.

Drawn Texturised Yarn (DTY) is formed when partially oriented yarn (POY) is simultaneously twisted & drawn using texturing machinery. This process changes the texture of the POY and makes it suitable for knitting or weaving fabrics. This polyester fabric is available in a wide range of lusters, including Semi Dull, Bright and Trilobal Bright depending on the type of sections of filaments present. It is primarily used in the manufacturing of Home Furnishing Fabrics, Fashion Fabrics and other textile products. This fabric can be woven with other fabrics to produce blends of various types of fabrics.
